CRYSTAL Palace striker Glenn Murray took part in an internal training ground match on Monday - not against Queens Park Rangers as previously thought.
Boss Tony Pulis confirmed on Sunday that last season's top scorer was set for some game time and many initially expected it to be against Brighton U21s in a development match on the south coast.
When it appeared this wasn't the case and was then said to be facing QPR, fans have been desperate to find out how the forward got on.
However, it has now emerged there was no game against the Hoops and instead Murray played in a training ground match arranged between the squad.
The Advertiser understands the former Brighton man came through the match unscathed and will continue to build his match fitness towards a first team spot.
No details are being released by the club on the scoreline and if Murray found the back of the net.
There have even been rumours he could be in the squad to face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday after being named in Pulis' 25-man announcement this evening.
