CRYSTAL Palace were the busiest Premier League club on transfer deadline day, signing five players and letting two leave. Tony Pulis brought in goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, defender Scott Dann, midfielder Joe Ledley and, late in the day, winger Tom Ince. On-loan winger Jason Puncheon's move from Southampton was also made permanent. Going out are Stephen Dobbie, who rejoined Blackpool on loan as part of the Ince deal, fellow summer signing Jose Campaña, who also went out on loan to German club FC Nürnberg, and defender Darcy Blake, who was released by Palace by "mutual consent". The most eye-catching signing of the five is that of 22-year-old Ince. Widely seen as one of the country's brightest young prospects, Ince joins on loan from Blackpool for the rest of the season. Ince, the son of former Man Utd and England legend Paul, tonight told talkSPORT radio he was "delighted" to join Palace, adding: "Tony Pulis has come in and done an outstanding job." Hennessey has joined from Wolves on a three and a half year deal for an undisclosed fee. The Welsh international previously impressed for the Midlands side in the Premier League but, since their relegation, he's suffered a catalogue of injury problems, which led to him being loaned out to Championship side Yeovil. The 27-year-old keeper is expected to provide competition to Julian Speroni and goes straight into the squad for Sunday's match at Arsenal. Hennessey told the Palace club website: "I'm delighted to be here, I've met some of the lads and the staff already so I'm just looking forward to getting out onto the training pitch now. "I know Danny Gabbidon well and he's been telling me what the place is all about. He said it's a fantastic club and that I should get down here so I'm over the moon it's happened." Scott Dann arrives from Blackburn Rovers, also on a three and a half year deal. The centre half, who had been linked with a move to Norwich, brings plenty of Premier League experience to SE25, having played in the top division for both Birmingham and Blackburn. Ledley has signed for around £800,000 from Celtic, having tasted Champions League football in recent seasons, while Puncheon has made his move permanent, after scoring vital winning goals in recent wins over Stoke and Hull. The Croydon-born winger said he'd always dreamed for playing at the club he used to support. He added: "I was here when I was eight years old when the likes of Dean Gordon and Chris Armstrong were here so that makes its special."
