CRYSTAL Palace have been linked with an American international, as Tony Pulis looks to boost his squad before the transfer deadline.
Left-back Fabian Johnson, 26, has played most of his career in Germany, but has 18 caps for the USA.
Currently at Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, the American could provide competition for Dean Moxey and Jonathan Parr at left-back.
Joel Ward has also filled the problem position at times this season but, with Tony Pulis looking to bolster his back line, Johnson's experience of football at the top level in Europe could prove vital.
