THREE more youths have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 12-year-old outside a Tesco Express last week.
A 14-year-old and two 13-year-olds have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and are currently in police custody.
This follows the arrest of two other boys, both aged 15, on Thursday (January 23), also on suspicion of GBH.
They have both been released on bail until March pending further enquiries.
Police were called to the Tesco Express on Whitehorse Road, Croydon, at approximately 4.50pm last Monday (January 20) to reports of the boy being stabbed.
It is believed three suspects approached the victim outside the store and went through his pockets before an altercation took place and the victim was stabbed.
The victim has since been released from a south London hospital.
