CRYSTAL Palace youngster Kyle De Silva could be set to complete a loan deal with League Two outfit Northampton Town.
The Cobblers, currently struggling in the fourth tier of English football, hope the midfielder can help them climb the table following manager Aidy Boothroyd's recent departure.
Palace Academy Director Gary Issott has told the Advertiser: "Kyle has gone up to Northampton at the moment to see if it suits both parties.
"That one may be a little bit complex until they've got a permanent manager there."
De Silva, who has been in and around the first team during the last two pre-season's, while also playing a small part during the 2011/12 season, can operate out wide and in the middle if required.
He has also been linked with a move to Derry City in Ireland, but it seems he will be moving up to Northamptonshire, possibly until the end of the season.
