HE has been at Millwall for 13 years and no stranger to the odd south London derby.
He even poured cold water on Wilfried Zaha's suggested price tag in October 2012 to stoke the fires ahead of a big match with Crystal Palace in October 2012.
But yesterday, after Ian Holloway was named as the Lions' new manager, right-back Alan Dunne was seen clutching an umbrella with the colours of Crystal Palace.
Dunne, who can be seen wearing his Millwall training attire, was giving an interview in the pouring rain about Holloway to Sky Sports.
And it left a number of fans having a laugh at the veteran as he clutched onto the brolly in the famous red and blue.
Eagles fan Lee Wallace @skaman67 tweeted: "Holloway having an effect at Millwall already as Alan Dunne is seen sporting a nice red & blue brolly....#cpfc"
TOE @TAKTIKT0E, tweeted: "Alan Dunne (millwall) in Bromley on #skysportsnews being asked about IH while holding a #redandblue umbrella, lol #ohtheirony #cpfc"
David Salthouse @DaiSalthaus, tweeted: "Why's @alandunne2 holding a palace brolly?"
Even former Millwall team-mate Scott Barron, who now plays for Brentford, tweeted: "What an absolute wolly with a brolly!!"
Twitter user @Fatboymfc 18h responded to Barron's tweet, saying: "under a palace one too. you carrying holloways gear now dunney".
Carly Wade @carly_wade_81, tweeted: "errrr claret and blue brolly!!!! And have u lost ur razor!???"
In October 2012, when Zaha was in top form for Palace, Dunne was quoted: "There's no way a player who has only ever played Championship football is worth that much.
"You could go and get a quality player from Spain for much less than that.
"I think they've thrown that figure out there in the hope they get £15m. If they said £11m he would probably go for seven or eight."
