A SIX-YEAR-OLD girl has had her locks lopped off to raise money for cancer treatment.
Little Lacie Alessandro, of New Addington, braved the salon scissors to raise money for the Royal Marsden Hospital, in Sutton.
The Castle Hill primary pupil had her hair chopped from waist-length to chin-length, at Head Office, in Central Parade, last Saturday.
She has so far raised £200 in donations via her Just Giving internet page.
Mum Lisa Alessandro, 26, said: "Both her nan and grandad passed away from cancer, and she saw a picture on Facebook of a little girl that had done this.
"So she said to me, 'Can I get my hair cut off?'"
Lisa plans to donate her daughter's chopped locks to a charity that makes wigs for cancer sufferers who lose their hair during chemotherapy.
