X FACTOR contestant Lorna Simpson paid a surprise visit to Ryelands Primary School during its Christmas talent show.
The singer, whose niece is a pupil at the school, performed a rendition of Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance With Somebody to a roomful of stunned children.
Ryelands Got Talent featured nine acts with performances including tap dance, gymnastics, singing and karate.
Stephanie Pordum, the teacher who organised the show, said: "It was so nice of Lorna to come down and see the children. She told them they can do anything they want to achieve."
