PALACE completed the signing of Southampton winger Jason Puncheon on a season-long loan on Wednesday, and Eagles striker Aaron Wilbraham can't wait to work with the 27-year-old again.
Both players were at Milton Keynes Dons together for two years and they could line-up once again against Stoke City on Saturday, if selected.
"Jason's a great player," Wilbraham told Advertiser Sport. "He can dribble with the ball, he's got a great shot with both feet, and he can carry the ball for the team which is what we've been missing since we lost Wilfried Zaha.
"I think it's a great addition to the team, he's a really good player and I know him well.
"I think he'll be really good for us and he's going to be back home too. He'll enjoy that and coming to training every day."
Croydon-born Puncheon, who began his career at Wimbledon in 2004, started out at Palace as a youngster and said he'd "always dreamed as a young kid dreamed of playing at Selhurst Park".
"Crystal Palace are my hometown club and more importantly Ian Holloway is here as well," he revealed.
"I know Ollie really well. He was a massive factor in this move. I actually played for Crystal Palace as a kid when I was eight.
"I left and there were a few times in my career that I was due to come back but didn't. I've always as a young kid dreamed of playing at Selhurst Park, so it's a young boy's dream coming true."
